Although there is some debate about when it was founded and established, it is known that it happened towards the end of the 1800s.

Despite being a small city, St. Anthony has much to offer, including parks and walking trails that have outdoor recreational activities visitors can enjoy. Towards the southern side of Henry’s Fork, you will find Greenway Trail where local residents and visitors walk, jog or cycle. Along the river, you’ll find a treasure trove of places for some outdoor fun such as a swimming areas, baseball fields, and skating parks.

The city of St. Anthony is quite famous for its sand dunes which are inhabited by extensive wildlife such as mule deer, moose, and elk. When the animals shed their antlers around winter, many visitors come to the area to collect these in the spring. It is regarded as an attraction by visitors because it is popular for vehicles off the road and bonfires as well. Visitors can extend their stay because of the number of resorts around the area.

Henry’s Fork Greenway is a quiet and peaceful hiking trail where visitors and tourists alike can walk along the beautiful path and surround themselves with nature. If you head out to grab a bite to eat with your group, you’ll be met with a fair amount of cuisines from which to choose from. Many fast food eateries, Mexican restaurants, and cafes are around the corner so you’ll have no trouble satisfying an appetite, no matter how big.
