About West Yellowstone, MT - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

In the state of Montana, the Gallatin County is home to the town of West Yellowstone. With a small population of over 1200 people, West Yellowstone is a small town that lies on a total area of 0.8 square miles. The town was founded June 1908 on the completion of the Oregon Short Line Railway, but the name was changed multiple times until it was finally settled in 1920.

The town is most famously known as a tourist destination where travelers and visitors stay while making a trip to the Yellowstone National Park in Idaho. This can explain a large number of tourist attractions and restaurants despite the small size of the town.

As far as attractions go, there’s much that West Yellowstone has to offer with the majority being outdoor activities. A variety of nature parks adorn the land of West Yellowstone such as the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, Back Country Snowmobile Adventures and many lakes.

These offer a fresh experience in the great outdoors where visitors can surround themselves with lush greenery and the best weather. There’s even a museum called Yellowstone Historic Center that serves as a way for the less adventurous to explore the town.

The various outdoor activities the town provides to visitors consist of tours and thrill-inducing adventures. These activities are carried out on the lakes or as tours on the park grounds. Fishing enthusiasts will find a wide range of outlets for them to explore fishing adventures. After a long day of continuous activities and events, a meal is definitely due.

For the hungry traveler, there’s a colorful palette of cuisines that are served at the many restaurants and local eateries in West Yellowstone. Treat your taste buds whether they’re craving some old-fashioned American fast food, Chinese cuisine or light snack.
